Finally Linux Enough for Arch

Skipped off Fedora, for…reasons and other reasons. Jumped onto ArchLinux. It was passed due.

Both laptop and desktop now Arch only.

Things to do after installing Arch (including Gnome):

pacman -Syu
pacman -S vlc jupyter-notebook avahi cups chrome-gnome-shell encfs

You’ll need to use systemctl to start your various services.

use AUR to install rstudio-desktop encfs and the printer driver for HL-L2360D. You’ll need to use systemctl to start your various services. After downloading the AUR git package run

makepkg -si

…while in the git directory.

I’m pretty sure I did loads more than this (Oh Yeah, bluetooth, set your locale, and network manager) but I’m still a little giddy with excitement. Maybe a longer post another day. Oh and Support Stallman
